Containly 2.7.2 is out. Notifications now reach your phone directly and the chat services you already have open.
Web push to your devices (Free)
- Under Profile > Push notifications you turn on push for the browser or the installed app, without any extra service or account.
- Every device has its own minimum severity and event selection, plus Send test, rename and remove.
- Tapping a notification opens the matching page in Containly.
- iPhone and iPad (iOS 16.4 or later): install Containly from Safari with Share > Add to Home Screen and open it from there. Push needs HTTPS.
Discord, Telegram, Slack and Pushover (Free)
- Discord with an embed coloured by severity, Telegram with your own bot (also in groups with topics), Slack with blocks and an "Open in Containly" button, Pushover with a priority per severity. Emergency priority is never a default.
- Same as ntfy, Gotify and webhooks: a filter per channel, Send test without saving, a delivery log and encrypted secrets. Webhook URLs are only accepted on the official hosts.
Workflows (Pro)
- The notify step can now also send push to devices.
Security
- Containly encrypts every push message for the receiving browser; the push service of Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft only sees encrypted data. Unsubscribed devices are removed automatically.
Update
docker compose pull && docker compose up -dThe database is migrated automatically on start (migration 47).
