Great to have you here! This is the place for everyone who uses Containly: ask questions, report bugs, share ideas. Everyone can read; to write, sign in with your Containly account.

The categories

• Announcements: news and releases from the Containly team. Replies are closed here.
• Help and questions: installation, setup, hosts, licences.
• Report a bug: something does not work as it should. Please use the template from How to report a bug.
• Ideas: wishes and suggestions for Containly.

A few rules

• Be kind. People help each other here in their free time.
• No secrets: never post passwords, tokens, licence keys or your public IP address. Replace such values in logs and Compose files with ***.
• Logs and config in code blocks: put three backticks (```) before and after the text so it stays readable.
• One topic per problem. That way others find the answer later. When your question is answered, mark the topic as solved.
• Check the help guides first; many questions are answered there.

One account for everything

Your Containly account is the same for licences, support requests, the forum and the support chat. Others only see your display name, never your e-mail address.

When it is private

Questions about your licence, a payment or your account do not belong in the forum. Open a support request in your Containly account, ask the support chat or write to support@containly.ch.
